Dustin has been painting for a decade, and woodworking for nearly 20 years. His primary medium of choice is oil paint. He creates the majority of his work in the impressionist style, and focuses on unique brush strokes and lighting to guide his work.

Dustin is inspired by nature, baseball, and his love of film. Many of his portraits are odes to his favorite films, directors, and actors. Dustin is a lifelong Wisconsin Sports Team fan and loves capturing athletes, coaches, and announcers in his creations. Dustin's still life and landscape paintings center around life in Owen, WI, where he enjoys nature walks and visiting his family farm.

Dustin is also a skilled craftsman, and enjoys woodworking. He constructs all canvases by hand, and builds all of the frames for his paintings and prints by hand in his Owen, WI workshop.
